Today I honor another one of my favorite characters to draw, the beautiful Black Canary. Not sure just why I am so fascinated with this character; blonde hair, beautiful face? It's got to be those fishnet stockings. They are somewhat of a pain to draw, but I love the way you can define the forms of the legs with them. Without further delay, here is the Black Canary!

New Cover Art For Moonstone Books
Thought I would post some art I did for Moonstone books. I did two variant covers for a new book from Moonstone coming out next year entitled "Savage Beauty." This was an art assignment I could not turn down, the theme of the art being right up my alley; jungle girls in leopard skins. What is very unique about this cover art is that it is the very first time I have pencilled, inked, and colored cover art for a major comics company.
I really don't like coloring much, I much prefer to just do at least the pencilling and inking. There's something about coloring on the computer that really bores me, so this is something I'm not going to do too often. I have to hand it to those who color for a loving, I would not be able to do what they do.
Look for these books sometime in February 2011.

As an animator, layout artist, and storyboard artist I've worked worked on countless productions for television as well as two feature films.
