Storyboard and Storytelling Samples

Below are various types of storyboard and storytelling samples.  In each case there was always a script I was visualizing that was written and discussed previous to any work being completed.

These first samples are storypanels from a "Charmed" comic book based on the hit TV series.  Scripting was by Paul Ruditus.  Extra effort was made on my part to be sure to visualize the story with a more cinematic flare.  All work was over-seen and approved by CBS Television.

These next samples are from a series of educational children's books.  The client wanted storyboards of all interior pages.  This particular book tells the story of how Levi Straus first came to this country and invented blue jeans.  In this case research was done to insure accuracy.  In total I worked on six different books.

These next samples are full color storyboards completed for an animation project.  In this case the client was developing promotional animation in an effort to sell a concept.

These next samples were for another animation project.  Again in full color, these visual story panels were part of a semi-documentary about author Edgar Rice Burroughs and his many types of fiction novels.

These last samples are finished pencilled pages for a comic book.  Working directly from a script, first layouts were comleted, and after discussions with editors the finished pencil art was created.
